Which battery should I choose — the 38Ah or the 52Ah?

It depends on how far you typically travel in a day. The 38Ah standard battery delivers up to 38km — more than enough for most daily routines, mall visits, neighbourhood outings and typical resort or hotel stays. If you regularly spend full days at large venues, travel long distances between stops or simply want the peace of mind of never thinking about range, the 52Ah extended battery gives you up to 50km. Both charge on or off the scooter and we’ll help you decide which suits your usage pattern when you visit the showroom.

Can I actually load this into a car myself — it weighs 89kg total?

You don’t load it as a single unit. The Equinox Nomad disassembles into five parts without any tools — typically the tiller, seat, battery, front section and rear section. The heaviest individual piece is 26kg. Most adults can manage 26kg, particularly with one other person helping. All five parts fit into the boot of most large SUVs and saloon cars. It reassembles at the destination in a few minutes. If you’re unsure whether your specific vehicle works, bring it to our showroom and we’ll test it.

Does it handle outdoor terrain in Saudi Arabia?

The Equinox Nomad is classified as a Class 2 outdoor scooter and is built for the kind of outdoor terrain that exists across Saudi Arabia — corniche paving, hotel resort grounds, outdoor souk areas, mosque courtyards and sloped car park entrances. The 320W motor handles inclines up to 10°, pneumatic tyres absorb surface vibration and front and rear suspension smooths out the transitions between different surfaces. It is not an all-terrain off-road scooter — it won’t handle deep sand or rough desert ground — but for the outdoor environments most people use a mobility scooter in across KSA, it is well matched.

I'm above 130kg — will the frame hold up with daily use?

The Equinox Nomad’s steel frame is rated to 150kg and is engineered for daily use at full capacity — not occasional use with a generous safety margin. If you’re between 130–150kg, you’re within the rated load and the frame is designed to handle that consistently. If you’re at or above 150kg, contact us before purchasing and we’ll discuss the options from our heavy-duty range that may be more appropriate.
