Description
One of the most noticeable features of the Pride Jazzy 600 ES is the large 14-inch drive wheels that combine with the powerful torque responsive motors to give it improved performance outside, allowing it to tackle bumpier ground with ease. Uprated ATX suspension helps with comfort, complemented by the large padded captain’s style seat. 50 Ah batteries give the pride jazzy 600 ES a long range of up to 18.6 miles on a single charge.
Despite this, the Jazzy 600ES remains excellent indoors, mid-wheel drive allowing it to literally turn on the spot, making it a great powerchair for narrow corridors and doorways. Added to this, the J600ES is extremely narrow, at just 24.5 inches wide – meaning it balances brilliant indoor manoeuvrability with excellent outdoor performance.
The seat is available in three widths – 16, 18 and 20 inches, and has an adjustable depth, providing a better fit than basic “one size fits all” models. The seat is designed to fold flat for storage or transport, allowing it to be safely stored in as little space as possible. Additionally, the 600ES is fully crash tested, making it suitable for occupied transport in a vehicle – one of the most affordable powerchairs that offer this. A weight capacity of 21.5 stone allows it to cater to most people.
Featuring a sleek modern design, the Jazzy 600ES is available in a choice of either black, blue or red.
What are the benefits of buying an electric wheelchair?
Because there are so many options when it comes to purchasing electric wheelchairs, you can benefit in a number of ways. Although some power wheelchairs will come at a higher price point than manual wheelchairs, they can offer many more useful features.
More freedom and accessibility
Powered wheelchairs allow users to get around without having to exert energy, which means that it is possible to get out for longer and a much further distance. The batteries on a power wheelchair can last for around 8 hours before needing a charge again, so those with limited mobility can easily transport for shopping, fresh air, and just about anything else! For those that require a wheelchair but can also walk short distances, an electric wheelchair allows the user to get out with less effort and therefore have more energy to walk when necessary. A powered wheelchair can allow much more outdoor freedom and accessibility.
Added comfort
Because a power wheelchair hosts a motor and battery, the models are usually slightly larger in size than ordinary wheelchairs. This means that there is more room for comfort, including bigger cushions, support and stability. The chair can easily be customised for an individual so that they are provided with optimum support while travelling around. Here at Momentum healthcare, our power wheelchairs require a seating assessment so that we can make sure your seat is perfectly comfortable and safe for your use.
